<li>Algae Tablets &#8211; Spirulina contains significant nutrients that can be an acceptable food when used as part of a varied diet but are very expensive.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>St. John&#8217;s Wort Supplement &#8211; Claims that it will suppress appetite and promote weight loss but it could lead to gastrointestinal discomfort, tiredness, sleeplessness, and arouse allergic reactions.</li>
</ul>

<li>Glucomannan Products – claim that two capsules before each meal decrease food absorption.  Known as food thickeners but not yet proven safe or effective.  Weight loss will only happen if good diet plan is followed.</li>

<p>Now, this great cardio exercise routine is great at the gym but also anywhere else. True, it&#8217;s hard to keep a certain pace but it&#8217;s definitely easy to tell the difference between a sprint and a fast pace.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>According to WebMD, more than 60% of Americans are either overweight or obese (classification determined by your body mass index (bmi)). <strong>With such a big population needing to lose weight, it is not surprising that you can go anywhere you want online and find the benefits of having a regular cardio workout. </strong>Doctors will even swear up and down that everyone should workout for half an hour to an hour, three to four times a week in order to keep fit.</p>
<p>I know my doctor would always tell me to lose weight. I would go in for something unrelated to my weight and all of a sudden my doctor would end the conversation about how to lose fat, my cholesterol levels,  and of course my blood pressure. How I need to get into a exercise routine and start eating healthier foods. I always got upset about how my doctor would make me feel by the end of our meeting. Yes, I was overweight, I didn&#8217;t take care of myself very much and I just didn&#8217;t like working out nor did I have the time.</p>
<p>It wasn&#8217;t until I was at the San Diego Zoo with my daughter that I realized just how out of shape I really was. I never realized how much walking there was and how many hills that zoo had. I felt like it was more of a place to workout at than to see animals. I definitely burned calories that day. Sadly we had to take a lot of breaks between exhibits and I was feeling pretty sore by the end of the day.</p>
<p><strong>After the Zoo incident I decided it was time to get into a diet program or at the very least start exercising.</strong> I never realized how many different types of exercise programs there were until Patricia and I started looking for a weight loss program for me to get into. Several claimed to have the best fat burning exercise, the best way to lose fat, or promised some kind of miracle pill or food.  It&#8217;s annoying how many different diet programs the diet industry tries to shove down our throats.</p>

I didn&#8217;t start my diet program by doing a half hour of cardio the day I decided it was time to lose weight. I didn&#8217;t even do fifteen minutes. No&#8230;I took baby steps before starting any kind of cardio workout.</p>
<p>The first week I may have only done 5 or 10 minutes of fitness exercise which simply included doing a few crunches and just walking around my block once. That was all for a while. Every week or so I would increase the time slightly but even then I did not have a regular workout or exercise routine. <strong>My goal was just to start burning calories somehow.</strong></p>
<p>During this time I also began to change my eating habits slowly. My goal was to lose fat so I started buying more fruits and vegetables for my daughter and I to eat. My daughter, Patricia, would even start looking up different healthy recipes online we could make together for lunch and dinner. Cooking together started as a weekly thing at the beginning but it soon started to be a daily routine for us.</p>
<p>Patricia greatly supported me in my effort to get into a weight loss program. She would research the main ones and I would give them a try. Unfortunately, a lot of the diet programs that I joined were short lived because of cost or the time they took from home and work.</p>
<p>It wasn&#8217;t until Patricia found my current weight loss program that I&#8217;ve been able to make use of fat burning exercises and even fat burning foods. <strong>The best part was that my new exercise routines only take 15 to 30 minutes of my time and I only do it 3 to 4 times a week.</strong> It has been an amazing time for me and Patricia because now I am more active with her. We now go ice skating, jogging, yoga classes, hiking, and even biking. I just think it&#8217;s amazing that by wanting to lose weight I was able to also to get closer to my daughter.</p>

<li>Sign up for a group exercise class</li>
<li>Avoid remote controls</li>
<li>Park at the farthest end of the lot</li>
